There is a small group of parishioners which collects, washes and irons the white cloths used by the priests at Mass, on a weekly basis. We are always looking for more volunteers, so please get in touch know if you have an hour to spare every 5/6 weeks or so.
We organise a rota for 3-4 months at a time, taking account of everyone’s availability. This is a great way to do something for the parish at times to suit you, so please do volunteer to help.
The ironing itself is really straight forward.
