November marks the Month of the Holy Souls, a special period in the Church’s calendar devoted to prayer and remembrance of those who have passed away. Parishioners are invited to honour the memory of deceased family members, friends, and benefactors by submitting a November Dead List.
Special labelled envelopes are now available in the church porch. Parishioners may write the names of departed loved ones and include a Mass offering for the Holy Souls. Once completed, envelopes should be posted into the Parish Office. The submitted names will then be placed in a casket beneath the High Altar, where they will rest for the remainder of November and be remembered during Masses throughout the month.
The Parish kindly reminds everyone not to place names directly into the casket. All lists must be handed in through the Parish Office to ensure they are properly recorded.
This annual tradition continues to offer comfort, encourage prayer, and unite the community in remembrance.
